I’m Roxy - wedding planner, on-the-day coordination pro and all-round wedding bestie. I specialise in helping couples plan unforgettable outdoor and blank canvas weddings - from tipis and barns to private fields and back-garden soirées.

Blank Canvas Planning was born from my first business - The Swig & Filly, a premium mobile bar service. Working in the dry-hire wedding world opened my eyes to just how magical (and complex!) these events can be. Since 2020, I’ve helped couples transform empty fields, barns, and marquees into unforgettable celebrations – each one unique, personal, and beautifully run.

Where are you based and how far do you travel?
I’m based in Hertfordshire and cover weddings across England, most often in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire, and Oxfordshire – but I do travel further for the right love stories.
How far in advance should we book you?
Most couples book 12–18 months before their wedding, but I’ve also successfully turned around weddings in less than 6 months! So if you’re feeling behind, don’t worry – it’s never too late to bring me in.
FAQS
Do you handle styling and décor?
I don’t offer full design services, but I do offer a few hire items directly – such as milk churns, clear glass bud vases, and galvanised buckets. For everything else, I have a little black book of trusted suppliers I can recommend to match your style and vision.
We’ve booked our structure — can you still help?
Absolutely – whether it’s a marquee, tipi, or yurt, these are my happy places! I can advise on layouts, site flow, guest experience, and supplier logistics to make sure everything works seamlessly.

Alongside working directly with couples, I also offer Venue Management services ~ supporting venues with smooth wedding-day operations, supplier coordination, guest flow and all of those behind-the-scenes logistics that make everything run like clockwork.
From managing arrival schedules and turnaround times to overseeing access, power, deliveries, health & safety flow, and real-time problem-solving on the day ~ I take care of the boring-but-brilliant details while also being fully present in the overall running of the wedding and couple experience.
This service is currently proudly packaged in with the incredible The Jetty @ Colmworth — where I work closely with their team to ensure every wedding is calm, consistent, and beautifully run from start to finish. All Venue Management packages are bespoke, as every space works differently — so let’s chat and create something that fits your venue, your setup, and your team perfectly.
